Akwa
Ibom Ayaya, the popular track of Mish has been hit with a ban, not from the NBC
but by the Cross River Broadcasting Co-operation (CRBC). The management of the
stationed warned all staff working in the cooperation never to play the song
either on CRBC TV or Radio. A notice was pasted in the live studio of the
station, stating “Play Akwa Ibom Ayaya and lose your job”.
This is
a sad development. What is your thought on this? What could be the reason for
this action?
