Today, 21st May, 2012 is the birthday of popular
SuperSports presenter, Thomas Sipho Mlambo. Thomas who is renowned for his wit and some
off the mark comments on Soccer Africa, the show he co-presents with Mamadou
Gaye, Thomas Kwenaite and Idah Peterside every Thursday on Super Sport.
Born to working class parents, Thomas was informally
adopted by his Mother's employers who also educated him (at the same
school as Darren Scott and Leanne Manas (SABC’s Morning Live presenter) -
which Thomas says accounts for his 'so-called accent’.

Mlambo is now the main anchor for all of SuperSport’s football properties, English premier league, local PSL and UEFA Champions League. This includes hosting ‘Soccer Africa’, Engen premier soccer’ and ‘Ibhola Lethu’
He was featured in the Mail and Guardian newspaper's prestigious 100 YOUNG SOUTH AFRICANS - “you must take to lunch" and was named by the Star newspaper as one of South Africa’s top 100 people
Thomas was twice named PSL presenter of the year and was awarded the Coca Cola Flair Presenter of the Year.
He also produces ‘Up the Bucs’ the official Orlando Pirates FC TV show.
