Governor
Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom continued on his impressive record as the most
decorated and award-winning governor (I stand to be corrected) when he was co-crowned
the Silverbird TV Man of the Year alongside billionnaire, Aliko Dangote.
The
event which took place in Lagos state had in attendance top dignitaries across
the country, including former military president - General Muhammadu Buhari, Central Bank
Governor – Lamido Sanusi, former Interim Head of State – Ernest Shonekan, and General
Danjuma.
Chief
Akpabio has won several awards for himself in his 5 years of stay as the
executive governor of Akwa Ibom State. Some of the awards include The SUN Man
of the Year, E-101 Magazine Entertainment Industry Man of the Year, City People
Award etc.
