Niger Delta Advancement Awards 2012: Photos of Mish, Family Man, Rockyfeller Nsudo, AJE, and others who made the nomination list (Part 1)

Bunox Communications Ltd and Juvenis, the organizers of Niger Delta Advancement Awards have released the list of nominees for the 2012 edition of the award. The 6th edition of the award has drawn nominations from the 9 states that make up the Niger Delta Region. Connoisseur.com will be bringing you photos of the nominees in parts. We are doing it in alphabetical order and we start with letter ‘A’, with Akwa Ibom taking the centre stage. Nominees from other states will follow in subsequent parts. Find after the cut, the faces of the nominees from Akwa Ibom…
Best Music Video Director: Ani James Etkins is the CEO of AJE Filmworks. He directed BrymO's 'Ara' video.
Best Video Jockey: Asteroid Bassey is the presenter of Muzik Alive on AKBC TV. He was awarded with the NDAA Excellence Award in Entertainment during the last edition of the award
Best Sports Writer: Bassey Ibiatisuho is the Sports Editor of Community Pulse Newspaper. With less than 2years in the job, the graduate of Communications Arts from UNIUYO has rose to become one of the best sports writers in the region
Best Music Producer: Dr. Duke is the producer of Pasto Goody Goody's hit track 'Afo do Legend'
Niger Delta Man of the Year: Gov. Godswill Akpabio is undoubtedly the most decorated governor in the history of Nigeria. He may just cart away this one
Best Sports Presenter (TV/Radio): Nobody does it better than Iniobong Monday. With a great savvy of talking sports the British way, his nomination is unquestionable
Best Radio Presenter: Jackson Wenigha a.k.a Family has become a landlord in this award because this is neither the first nor second time he has gotten the nod. He may just go home with it again.
Best RnB Artiste: Undoubtedly Mish's monster hit 'Akwa Ibom Ayaya' was and is still a street anthem in most parts of Nigeria. Maybe his future avalanche of awards will start with that of NDAA
Best Record Label: South Central Records owned by Akwa-Cross music don, Mista Xto has been nominated in this category. They got the franchise to organize a music stampede in honour of late Christy Essien-Igbokwe and they did it so magnificently well
Best Gospel Artiste: Pat Akpabio is the only Nigerian in the Grammy Award Recording Academy as a voting member and she has two gospel albums to her credit
Best DJ: Rockyfeller Eshiet Nsudo is the only man in this list which I envy. I call him the man with the sweetest voice on radio. I'm always wowed by how he manages to lure top entertainment personalities from any part of the world to his radio program through phone interviews
Best TV Presenter: Samuel Udofia is one of the best newscasters and known TV faces around the Niger Delta Region
Fast Rising Comedian: Sir James is the President of Comedians Int'l in Akwa Ibom State and nobody cracks ribs more than he does. He surely has a budding profile.
Best Hip-Hop Artiste: Nobody raps in local dialect like Zillionz does. He is simply in a class of his own
