Cyril
Umoren better known as CYX, still basking on the euphoria of the success of
‘Akwa Ibom Girl’ which he featured African G-pop star Don Tom is working on the
video of the song which he has done a remix. He didn’t feature any artiste in
the remix of the song.
CYX said he
has employed the services of India-trained video man Eddie Brendan. The video,
we learnt is in the editing stage and will be premiered by November 2012.
The song
Akwa Ibom Girl serves to announce his introduction into the market and also
reveal what he is bringing into the industry. This track is a club banger but
as commercial as the song sounds, still it succeeds in dropping hard mental
bars and also has received massive airplay on the different radio stations in
the country and overseas.
Also, 3 new
singles has been released from his record label – Redhowz Entertainment. The
singles include Akwa Ibom Girl season 2, Just the Way U Are and Celebrate.
CYX is a
dancehall/hiphop artiste who only in 2010 took his musical career to a
professional level and has since garnered recognition and achievements by
becoming one of the fastest rising music powers especially in South South of
Nigeria. He has been working on releasing an official album of his own titled
‘I AM CYX’ which is expected to be released by the end of this year.
