Exclusive: Photos of Orange Carnival 2012


The 3rd edition of the Orange Carnival was staged round the streets of Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Saturday, 22nd September, 2012. The carnival which is powered by Nelson Nseabasi of Still on Street (SOS) who is also the marketing manager of E-101Magazine kicked off at Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Unity Hall, Udo Udoma Avenue, and terminated at popular celebrity hangout – 2nd Baze. 25 bands took part in the carnival and there were notable faces, especially in the entertainers bands were budding singers Feelingz, Indigenous MaliQ, Pop Don X, and AK Smuth were part of while there were special appearances by Icekyd and Pasto Goody Goody. Your favourite blogger and of course Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ever – Ifreke Nseowo was there too…Orange Carnival is done yearly to celebrate the anniversary of Akwa Ibom State.   2. WHAT A COLOURFUL EVENT IT WAS.......my suggestion is there should be a more concrete arrangement as to young minds who appreciate where we come from...to also felicitate with such event!! I would have loved to be part of this but, information as to who to meet and how to get involved!!..I belive the more the merrier!!

    All the same this was indeed a BRILLIANT one!!
