Arnold Schwarzenegger returns in Terminator 5 & 6

When Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back" - he really meant it.

The Hollywood star is reportedly returning for two brand new Terminator movies - a decade after he last played the cyborg assassin on the big screen.

The rights to the sci-fi franchise have been snapped up by the production company responsible for recent box office hits Lawless, The Master and Brad Pitt's action flick Killing Them Softly.

And industry insiders believe Annapurna Pictures head honchos David and Megan Ellison are planning to make two new sequels.
Arnie, 65, played the Terminator in the first three films in 1984, 1991 and 2003 - but he was forced to sit out of the last instalment, 2009's Terminator Salvation because he was still serving as California Governor at the time.

He left office last year - and is making up for lost time, cramming in as many movies as he can.

In fact, Terminator 5 and 6 may take some time to get made - Arnie has no fewer than SIX films lined up for next year alone, including a sequel to 1988 comedy Twins.

He's also confirmed he's returning to another of his legendary franchises - Conan the Barbarian.

Arnie recently revealed: “We’ve already had discussion about this, because it’s a project that is particularly dear to me.

“I must first shoot Ten with David Ayer, but then we’re going to focus on Conan."
