The Supreme Court Friday morning sacked Hon. Eseme Eyiboh as
member representing Eket Federal Consituency of Akwa Ibom State at House of
Representatives.
It could be recalled that Eyiboh in January, 2012 lost at
Court of Appeal where Justice Ayo Bada read out a unanimous judgment upholding the
victory of Bassey Dan Abia Jnr. as the PDP candidate at the 2011 primaries of
the party.
Eyiboh had taken the case to Supreme Court which has been
thrown out today, with the apex court upholding the judgment of the lower
court. The court ordered Bassey Dan Abia Jnr. to be sworn-in with immediate
effect.
