Reasons have unfolded on why there were initial plans by the
organizers of the recently concluded Miss Akwa Ibom to dethrone Miss Andinouwem
Bassey who came out tops at the pageant. A source told us that the new queen
used a fake name and her age was also falsified. The source said her names are
Andinouwem Essien Attah but possibly owing to the fact that she didn’t want to
be known as a member the Attah lineage during the pageant, she registered for
the pageant as Andinouwem Bassey.
Connoisseur also learnt that though Miss Andino is yet to be dethroned,
the organizers are still contemplating on the next step to take on deciding her
fate. We also learnt that there has been a feud between the organizers and the
management of the queen, which both are trying to keep away from the prying
eyes of the press by settling it in-house. More details coming soon. Watch this
