The arrest and detention of a Nigerian blogger and political commentator, Mr
Abubakar Sidiq Usman, popularly known as Abusidiq, on Monday the 8th of August,
2016 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged “cyber
stalking related offences” has incensed the cyberspace and ignited tirades of
lacerations directed at the EFCC and its Acting Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu.
