It is fresh and cute; www.wetinhappen.com has a new domain name, www.wetinhappen.com.ng and also a new beautiful look as seen in the snipped outlook of the website. If you have forgotten, it is the first online magazine south-south Nigeria and has a large chunk of followership across the world with visits from viewers in over 90 countries of the world. It will be clocking 5 on November 14, 2013 and the publisher, Aniekan Ekah says there will be an unveiling party for the re-branded wetinhappen magazine. Lovely, abi?

'Alleged' Play Terrace owner, Captain Iniobong Ekong wants me to give him N500m *LOL* He must be kidding me
I'm sorry guys for staying for a couple of days now without blogging. I was on the plane for about two days where I went to Lagos, then moved to Russia. I've had many messages on social networks, especially facebook messages from friends and regular visitors of this blog since I arrived here in MOscow. Some of you guys were worried because you said you read in the papers that my life was in constant threat because of the 'rumoured' N500m court case instituted against me by a certain Captain Iniobong Ekong. I quote the rumoured because I never officially confirmed so. Most of you heard from the grapevine. I want to use this opportunity to say, YEs, Captain INiobong EKong is dragging me to court for'alleging' that he owns a popular exclusive lounge located along Aka Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom. You all could recall that I exclusively scooped the story of how Prince Akpabio misbehaved and molested women at the club, I mean Play Terrace. I wrote the report back in June. Now Captain Ekong felt the story was injurious to him because I mentioned his name as the 'ALLEGED' owner of the club. Underline the word alleged. I have no qualms about that. He is demanding N500m for damages. That's cool. I have no qualms about that. We'll settle that in court. The court will decide if he deserves to go home with the staggering sum. As for my friends and followers of this blog, there is no need to panick. We'll settle it at court. But meanwhile, check out the writ of summons and other documents after the court. Love you all.

iROKING sacks CEO over alleged gross misconduct
iROKING is the sister company to iROKOtv which is both owned by
Jason Njoku. Just like iROKOtv is known for Nollywood movies, iROKING was built
in line for music. They wanted another great platform for music just like they
have with iROKOtv and made Michael Ugwu the CEO of iROKING. Something went
wrong between him and Jason earlier this month and he was fired. Nothing was
heard from both sides until today, when Jason Njoku's team made a press
release. Michael who felt not all what they said was true, decided to say his
own part and informed the public he will be starting something else pretty
soon. Sadly, Michael is one of Nigeria’s leading young tech executives and
Jason Njoku is also one of the best in what he does. Hope they resolve this
soon. Find their statements after the cut…
