I have not blogged for about a month
now because this blog is undergoing maintenance and redesigning. But I would
definitely not have any genuine reason for not reporting a big news such as the
death of Nelson Mandela. There is no way I could have honoured this man other
than pausing on everything and blogging his departure. Yes, Nelson Mandela a.k.a
Madiba is dead. South Africa’s president, Jacob Zuma announced Mandela’s death
at the age of 95.
"Our nation has lost its greatest
son. What made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human. We saw
in him what we seek in ourselves. Fellow South Africans, Nelson Mandela brought
us together and it is together that we will bid him farewell”, Zuma said.
May his soul rest in peace. Amen!
