On Friday, 14^th December, 2012, popular television presenter, Uduak Inyang will officially quit bachelorhood. He is getting married to his beautiful heartthrob, Enobong Gideon in a ceremony that is expected to be attended by big names in the society. The event will take place at Chief Gideon Asuquo Udo’s country home, Use Ndon, Ibiono Ibom L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria by 12.05pm on the above date.

Popular On-air-personality (OAP), Aniekeme Finbarr Esq and fiancée simply known as Didi (both pictured above) are to serve as Best Man and Chief Bridesmaid respectively to JohnPaul Ukpong a.k.a JP and his wife-to-be. CONNOISSEUR has it on good authority that the Love FM Abuja presenter who dubs himself The Prime Minister of the Airwaves was chosen for the ‘job’ because of his closeness with JP. A source who is close to both JP and Finbarr said “JP and Finbarr are like 5&6. Finbarr’s girl (referring to Didi) is also close both JP and his bride – Unyime Nathaniel. It’s going to be fun”.

OAP Etop Ikon loses mum

On-air-personality, Etop Ikon of AKBC has lost his mother. The ‘Dial My Heart’ co-presenter took to his facebook timeline to announce the loss. “Oh my God, somebody help. Is this what n how it feels like to loose some one soooo dear?.... FOLKS. I JUST LOST MY MUM”, he wrote. We pray God to grant him the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

Today, August 12, is the birthday of ace broadcasters Pastor Michael Bush and Itoro Lawrence popularly known as Aitee Lawrence.

Pastor Bush who clocks 41 today is the CEO of WorldWinMedia, owners of BushHouse on Radio and TV, and News d’Or. He recently celebrated his nineteen years of active service as a broadcaster and 9 years of BushHouse Nigeria. His program, BushHouse Nigeria now runs on FRCN Radio network. 

Ace broadcaster, Idy James appointed GM of UNIUYO FM

Broadcast virtuoso, Pastor Idy James has been appointed the General Manager of UNIUYO FM 100.7Mhz. Pastor James has had stints with AKBC and Cool FM. He started duties at the University of Uyo owned station on Monday and he is saddled with the responsibility of commercializing and re-branding the Tuskite FM. Congrats to him.  

Happy birthday to star gospel singer, Aity Dennis-Inyang

Today, July 13 is the birthday of top gospel act, Aity Dennis-Inyang. Aity is the first of six siblings. She resigned her job as a broadcaster in AKBC in order to concentrate fully in making gospel music. She is reputed to have over about 1,500 songs to her credit. She is married to Pastor Dennis Inyang. Connoisseur wishes her a happy birthday.
