My homeboy MC Galaxy won Davido’s N500,000 cash giveaway at his birthday bash. It was Davido’s 20^th birthday and the gig took place at Deuces Club. MC Galaxy became a popular face when he featured prominently in Iyanya’s ‘Kukere’ video with his Etighi dance steps. Congrats to him.

Kukere crooner Iyanya bounced in Malaysia

Reports reaching Connoisseur.com has it that Iyanya Mbuk who is the Winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 1, and the Singer of the viral hit track "Kukere" has been bounced from entering Malaysia. He was invited to perform at a ‘Celebrities’, a popular club in Malaysia. But on arrival at the Asian country, he was asked by the immigration authorities for his performance permit which he couldn’t provide; hence he was bounced from entering the country.  

Kcee ft. Davido – Okpekete

Kcee, formerly of defunct music group KC Presh, is out with another remix of his hot track ‘Okpekete’. This time, he is featuring the hottest up-and-coming artiste in Nigeria, Davido. The previous remix of the song had featured South African star, Pablo. It is produced by Del B and Sosobrekon.

D’banj floats new label, signs Davido, K-Switch

Connoisseur.com has confirmed from an authoritative source that D’banj has formed a new record label. The label goes with the name Def Jam Africa.


The source which is close to D’banj said the label is under Universal Music group which houses the world’s biggest names.


The source also divulged that Dami Duru crooner, Davido has been signed to the label. The deal was sealed two weeks ago in Atlanta. D’banj’s younger brother, K-Switch is also reported to have been signed to the label which we learnt will soon be made official by the proprietor (D’banj).

Project Fame West Africa’s first ever winner Iyanya Mbuk will tomorrow, Saturday be in Uyo for his campus music tour ‘IYANYA AND FRIENDS’ as part of plans to release his second album.

The show is expected to hold at Onyema Ogochukwu Hall, University of Uyo. He is currently in Unical for the same tour.

A big gun in the comedy business in the country, Basketmouth who recently released a single featuring eLDee Da Don and Wizkid entitled “Where U Dey?” is set to release two more tracks. According to Basketmouth whose real name is Bright Okpocha, he will feature Legendary singer, 2face Idibia and rave of the moment, Davido.
