Nigerian Idol unveils top 3 contestants

Last weekend, she delivered a strong version of Alicia Keys’ song to the delight of the audience. She followed up her first performance with Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’; dramatising her set with a well-choreographed dance routine. But Najite but failed to get enough votes from the audience to keep her in the competition. And the judges showed her the exit doors.

Fan favourite Mercy had emerged as the contestant with the highest vote, followed by the Stephen Onoche and Joe blue, the favourite male contestant.

So it’s now down to just three final contestants – Mercy, Stephen and Joe Blue! We can’t wait to find out who walks away with the big prize!
