CORONER CONFIRMS DRUGS KILLED WHITNEY HOUSTON

Los Angeles County Coroner officials have confirmed the cause of Whitney Houston’s death.
The singer did not die from drowning as earlier rumoured but as a result of the combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol, family sources say.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that multiple medicine bottles were found in the Beverly Hills Hotel room where Whitney Houston died.

Among the pills found are ibuprofen (painkiller), Xanax (anti-depressant), Midol (for menstrual cramps), amoxillin (for treating bacterial infections). Houston is said to have been suffering from a sore throat.
Reports say the family was informed by the Coroner officials that there ‘was not enough water in Whitney’s lungs to lead to the conclusion that she drowned’.
‘She may have died before she submerged herself in to the bath tub filled with water’.
Family sources have told TMZ that it was the late singer’s aunt, Mary Jones, who discovered Whitney’s body in the bathtub.
We’re told Coroner’s officials informed the family there was not enough water in Whitney’s lungs to lead to the conclusion that she was drowned.
A toxic report is expected to be released in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile, her body will be flown back to Atlanta today. Houston died on February 12, 2012 at the age of 48.
