Akpabio/Frank Okon: Stalemate, as judge fails to show up

Another stalemate was recorded on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the case filed by Engr. Frank Okon seeking to unseat Chief Godswill Akpabio as the governor of Akwa Ibom State as the presiding judge failed to show up for the day’s proceedings.

Justice Abdul Kafarati, the presiding judge of Federal High Court 2 is said to have embarked on a seminar abroad alongside the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court, Connoisseur learnt will also proceed on a long vacation which will last from July 16^th to September 14^th, 2012.
