Photo: Gov. Akpabio and Sen. Udoedehe inside the ring with Samuel Peter

I actually found this picture when I was going through my pix archives and I decided to share it with you. The above picture was taken when Samuel Peter was crowned the WBC heavyweight Boxing Champion in Madison Square Garden, USA back in 2007. You can spot Godswill Akpabio, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State (2nd from left) rejoicing with the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ alongside his now political opponent John Udoedehe (right). That was when the going was good. I won’t be surprised if they become friends again tomorrow because in politics they say there is no permanent friend nor enemy but permanent interest.

Gov. Akpabio announces retirement from active politics

Chief Godswill Akpabio has said he will retire from active politics at the expiration of his tenure as governor of Akwa Ibom State by 2015. He said this in an interview with THE WILL.

He said he would, from 2015, prefer to play an advisory role in political circles in addition to spending more time with his family, particularly to be more involved nurturing the growth of his children.

“I pray that 2015 will meet all of us alive. I see myself as an elder statesman by that time. I would be a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, sitting down as a development consultant, giving advice to the youths, from the level of local governments to the state.”

REVEALED: WHY MOSES ARMSTRONG LIVES IN HOTELS

Moses Armstrong
It could be recalled that the fair-skinned Nollywood star, Moses Armstrong not too long ago relocated from Lagos, which is considered the hub of entertainment in Nigerian back to his homesoil, Akwa Ibom State. CONNOISSEUR.com learnt that it was due to his inability to get regular roles in movies that warranted his decision to get back to the state. He dubs himself ‘Akwa Ibom’s most celebrated and finest actor’ but you can added ‘hotel accommodated’ to his titles because since he relocated back to the state, he has been living in hotels.

Why does he live in hotels? Below is a story that reveals why he lives in hotels courtesy www.nigeriafilms.com:
