Akwa Ibom indigenes in South Africa to hold first Cultural and Economic Summit


Indigenes of Akwa Ibom State in South Africa will be celebrating their first Akwa Ibom Cultural and Economic Summit at Education Centre, National Botanical Garden, 2 Cussonia Avenue Brummeria Pretoria, South Africa on the 17th of November, 2012. The Governor, His Excellency, Godswill Akpabio, CON, and top federal and state government officials and the global press as well as business, academia, and social leaders are also expected at the occasion.
The celebration will start on Friday evening with the Presidential Brunch by 19.30 -21.00. It will continue the following day by 10am till late. Many indigenes of Akwa Ibom State from Nigeria, America, Europe and the continent are expected at the occasion.
The occasion of the celebration is expected to give the attendees opportunity to interact and find out about the tradition and delicacies of Akwa Ibom and also present investment opportunities in Akwa Ibom and Nigeria at large to the august audience.
