BOSS Summit set to raise new generation entrepreneurs


Net Link, Nigerian company with base in Akwa Ibom is partnering with Amaecom Global to offer trainings on entrepreneurial skills development for youths in the Niger Delta region. BOSS is poised to make fresh ideas appear larger than life, and to guide them on the step by step process towards turning it into a reality, and helping youths to rule their world.
Bringing new and aspiring businesses together for mutual benefit of exchanging ideas and learning from others is what Best of South-South Business Summit is set to achieve.
At a press briefing held in Uyo recently, the BOSS team, led by Amanam Uko, the Project Coordinator stated that the BOSS vision is born out of the desire to see a generation of gainfully employed youths, and not just churning out graduates that will flood the labor market.
“This will help entrepreneurial development NGOs develop their expertise to further learn more challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in this one day converge. Networking case studies shows how successful cross-sector meeting point can work with lots of ideas to help make a difference in the community and the economy”, said Mr. Uko.
The maiden edition of the BOSS Business Summit is slated for December 7th in Uyo and will have the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government Obong Umana Okon Umana giving the Key Note Address. With the theme "Reinventing the Future of Business," the summits is providing an ideal environment for businesses and social enterprises to network with one another and work achieving towards mutually beneficial goals.
1500+ young businessmen who are professionals, aspiring and managers of resources as well as voluntary organizations who are into entrepreneurial development are expected to meet at Civil Service Auditorium, State Secretariat Complex in Uyo on December 7, 2012 to help one another achieve their goals or launch new programmes and strategies.
