Dontom features Akon in new hit, releases album tomorrow


Arguably the biggest music act in the Francophone countries, Putuputu crooner, Dontom has featured Konvict Music boss, Akon in a new song entitled “Flexing Dollar”. The smash hit is one of the tracks in his new album titled “The Revolution”.
Meanwhile, the fair-skinned Nigerian music act will officially release the 16-tracker album in an album party at Monty Suites, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, tomorrow, Friday, 15th June, 2012.

D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’ video gets one million views


The video of D’banj hit single, Oliver Twist has just hit one million views mark on YouTube, less than 2 months after its release.

With total views of 1, 144, 291, the video is second most viewed Nigerian video, behind Psquares ‘Chop my money’ remix featuring Akon.

Akon announces Konvict/EME Worldwide deal for WizKid


It’s official again! Wizkid is now official a Konvict/EME artist. Akon made the announcement via his twitter account earlier today. In his words “It’s OFFICIAL!!!! KONVICT/EME is now the official label for WIZ KID worldwide. WOW!! Hope u ready!!”

The deal had been in the works ever since WizKid was announced Konvict music rep. Biggger and brighter things for the kid, and for EME as a whole.

Congrats to the 22 year old.

AKON SUED FOR $51K OVER UNPAID CONSTRUCTION BILL

Senegalese -American star Akon has been sued for $51,000 for not paying his construction bill. TMZ reports that a local contracting company southern Electric filed a lawsuit against him in Georgia Superior court calming it completed over $344,000 of work on Akon's Georgia Mansion but he has refused to pay the balance of $51,941 on their final invoice.
 After contacting Akon's Mum who was in charge of the project last November, Southern Electric is  suing for breach of contract for the amount allegedly owed, plus interest.

He performed his hit tracks and wowed the amazing crowd at the stadium. With this, the CV of the ‘I Don See My Wife’ crooner is on the rise.

AKON FACILITATES P-SQUARE’S COLLABORATION WITH USHER RAYMOND


Psquare
American Rhythm and Blues singer and super star, Usher Raymond would be collaborating with Nigerian duo-P-Square.

The twin who were busy in U.S a while back with the project which would include a video, would have their next single featuring the American singer many have compared them to.

Konvict Music led by Akon reportedly made the collaboration possible.
