Photos: Popular TV star, Asteroid at NYSC camp

After his recent completion of studies as a student of University of Uyo where he bagged a bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, popular TV presenter, Asteroid Bassey was posted to Keffi, Nassarawa State for his NYSC program. As a swag-minded fellow, the Associate Editor of E101Magazine was a shining star at the 3-week orientation camp as he won laurels for best parade and also got elected as interim National President, Akwa Ibom Corpers Forum in Nassarawa State.  After leaving camp on Tuesday, he was spotted shopping at Shoprite at Abuja and has also been redeployed to serve in Akwa Ibom. Nigeria’s Youngest Editor and Icekyd pose with their PMAN Awards in new photos

The pictures above and below show my humble self, Ifreke Nseowo, of course Nigeria’s Youngest Editor and music star Icekyd – Otuekong Ikwo 1 posing with our PMAN Award medals. We were given “Ambassador of Music” awards yesterday by PMAN. Etubomg Rex Williams was given a legendary award, while Mista Xto, Sir James and Godfada are some of the other recipients. Lets I forget, my magazine, E-101 was awarded “Best Entertainment Magazine”. The medal was received by our Fashion/Style Editor, Prince ‘Goldenchyld’ Simeon on behalf the Board of Directors of the magazine. More pictures of me and Icekyd after the cut….

E-101 Magazine out with 5th edition

The magazine prides itself as South-South Nigeria’s first all entertainment and personality newsmagazine. Here is the 5^th edition of the magazine with the Secretary to the State Government of Akwa Ibom, Umana O. Umana gracing the cover. These guys at D’Kartel Media (publishers of the mag) keep wowing us with every edition. Meanwhile, the magazine will be celebrating its one year anniversary alongside Akwa Ibom’s silver jubilee in September. I believe that edition will be super bumper. Nice one.

The Publisher of top online magazine www.wetinhappen.com, Mr. Aniekan Ekah on Wednesday, 08 August, 2012 clocked 30.  The event which was held at popular celebrity hangout 2^nd Baze had in attendance Marcel Oformata - MD Amaecom Global Limited, Ndueso Essien – S.A to Commissioner for Information, ace star artiste Mista Xto, Akwa Ibom State PMAN, members of E101 magazine Board of Directors, South Central Records, Double Dee of Justjojo Studio, Eddie Brendan, Di Kans, Zillions Dondada, Brandiny Ini, Godfada. A’IBOM INFORMATION COMMISSIONER TO PARTNER E-101MAGAZINE

The Commissioner for Information in Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Aniekan Umanah has promised to partner the rave-making E101magazine in order to showcase the state and its entertainment endowments to the world. Mr. Umanah stated this while receiving the magazine’s crew today at his office.

GOVERNOR AKPABIO GRABS CBN AWARD

Governor Godswill Akpabio today received Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Best Governor Award. He was given the award because Akwa Ibom State emerged the Best State in infrastructural development, best in human empowerment, etc.

‘WELCOME BACK’ PARTY FOR NIGERIAN IDOL STAR - NSIKAK UMOH

Nsikak Umoh a.k.a Bonic who made it to the top 30 at the on-going Nigerian Idol arrived Uyo this evening from Lagos via Akwa Ibom International Airport and will be hosted tomorrow, Friday for a ‘welcome back’ party.

   The event tagged “Celebrating Nsikak Umoh” will hold at popular celebrity hang out, 2^nd Baze from 7pm.

   There will be a red-carpet which will be graced by celebrities and other guests. Nsikak is expected to perform while also using the opportunity to thank his fans for the support they showed him while he was at the reality TV show.

This is the latest edition of the much-touted entertainment magazine…It is Nollywood funny act, Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh who graces the cover. Can you guess who he is pointing the finger at and what he is saying? I think he is pointing it at the photographer and saying ‘Iya mmi! Don’t put that light on my eye again o’.
