A lovely hattrick from Idongesit Amanda gave Entertainment
Stars a resounding 3-0 victory over Media Celebrities in the rematch of
Celebrity Showdown. The match which was played at the University of Uyo
Mini-stadium saw the Entertainment Stars taking
the lead inside 10 minutes of the first half and completed the rout before the
end of regulation time.
-->It was 100%
fun for the people of AkwaIbomState
as they were provided with pure entertainment during the state’s silver
jubilee. The date was 23rd September, 2012, the day Akwa Ibom
clocked 25, the venue was 2nd Baze as a crème-de-la-crème and of
course the best artistes from the state climbed the stage to thrill numerous numbers
of fun-lovers. It was a night of comedy, music, and dance as put together by the
powerful entertainment trio of South Central Records championed by the doyen of
AKS music industry – Mista Xto, Nature Udoh and the Gang and the Last Floor
Entertainment….more pictures after the cut.

event which was held at popular celebrity hangout 2nd Baze had in
attendance Marcel Oformata - MD Amaecom Global Limited, Ndueso Essien – S.A to

'Connoisseur' Nseowo was there too. More pictures after the cut.
The car of Mista Xto, the doyen of Akwa-Cross music was destroyed and his
laptop and other items stolen from the vehicle. Check after the cut what he
wrote on his Facebook page….

Leke boys – UNIK will be hosted on Sunday, 29th July 2012 at
M-Lounge.
According to a statement by the organizers, “this
Event will bring all the great AkwaIbomState

Music
star act, Christopher Stephen a.k.a Mista Xto performed at the U.J. Esuene
Stadium, Calabar as the Super Eagles of Nigeria took on Namibia in a
Brazil 2014 World Cup qualification match last Sunday. Xto who played by 2pm
before the two sides took to the field wowed thousands of fans at the stadium
as he performed his hits and the fans went gaga when he sang ‘Na U Dem Send’.
Mista Xto, unarguably
one of the biggest musicians to come out of Akwa-Cross has bared his mind on
the growing popularity of Illuminati, especially among Nigerian entertainers.
In a
message to Connoisseur.com, the
music ‘don’ said “every other day someone sends me a message about how
ILLUMINATI, whatever that means is eating into the industry and seeming to be
behind every majormusical success of
the last two decades and why I shouldn’t buy or even listen to certain artistes
whose songs promote the devil”.
Christopher
Stephen popularly known in the entertainment world as Mista Xto says ‘Ting Mi Kiso’, a love song coming off
the ‘Detention’ album is his best
ever.
In a chat
with Connoisseur.com through BBM, the
Oron-born and Calabar-based music star who leads the new generation of Akwa
Ibom musicians said his assertion on the track was based on the excellent lyrics
of the song.
“That work
is a master piece. It’s my best ever track in terms of lyrical content. It’s my
best on that album. It’s a song that is well written and well sung. I have
gotten a lot of commendation from mature people on that song”.
Ting Mi Kiso is a song which the music sensation
tells his lover (on the track….he is married ooo) to tell him to his face
whether he is worthy to be shown to her parents. Going on, Xto tells the lover
that too much patience might make him to be regarded as a fool, that he is
tired of being a ‘good person’, he has to tell her his mind.

Tomorrow, all roads will lead to Ikot Akpan No. 1, Nsit
Ibom Local Government Area for the Performing Musicians and Employers
Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Night of Concert in honour of Late Elder
Archibong Job Udoh.
The late Elder of Qua Iboe Church is the father of the
publisher of Connoisseur.com and Nigeria’s youngest editor ever,
Ifreke Nseowo.
The National President of PMAN,
Ras Murphy is set the storm the city of Uyo
come February 14 for the mother of all concerts. Tagged the PMAN Love and Unity
concert, the event is a brainchild of AKS PMAN aimed at fogging brotherliness
among Akwa Ibomites and Nigerians at large.
Doyen
of the Akwa-Cross entertainment Industry and former AKS PMAN Governor, Mista
Xto is painstakingly reconciling all factions that had existed in AKS chapter
of the Performing Musicians and employers Association (PMAN). Mista Xto was
spotted at Oron LGA recently with the Sole Administrator of the Union, Pastor Jeremy Ekong holding hours of closed-door
meetings with members of PMAN from the five LGAs that make up the Oro Zone.
