The pictures above and below show my humble self, Ifreke Nseowo, of course Nigeria’s Youngest Editor and music star Icekyd – Otuekong Ikwo 1 posing with our PMAN Award medals. We were given “Ambassador of Music” awards yesterday by PMAN. Etubomg Rex Williams was given a legendary award, while Mista Xto, Sir James and Godfada are some of the other recipients. Lets I forget, my magazine, E-101 was awarded “Best Entertainment Magazine”. The medal was received by our Fashion/Style Editor, Prince ‘Goldenchyld’ Simeon on behalf the Board of Directors of the magazine. More pictures of me and Icekyd after the cut….

One year after death, Christy Essien-Igbokwe's profile not updated on wikipedia

Nigeria’s Lady of Songs, Christy Essien-Igbokwe died on exactly this date, Thursday 30^th June, 2011 in a hospital. It is sad that when Connoisseur visited wikipedia this morning to look at the profile of the departed first PMAN female president, it was not updated. This leaves those who didn’t know Christy to believe that she is still alive. At least those that put it up there should be able to do an update on it.

Akwa Ibom to host Glo King of the Mic, Nigeria Music Legendary Award and NMA

Akwa Ibom State is to play host to top music stars as the state has been given rights to host the upcoming Nigeria Music Awards (NMA).

Speaking exclusively to Connoisseur.com, the Sole Administrator of PMAN in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Jeremy Keong said the countdown to the awards is on. “On 26^th of May, 2012, we will be hosting Glo King of the Mic. June is Nigeria Music Award which is a PMAN award and the slot has been given to Akwa Ibom to host it while in September we will host the Nigeria Music Legendary Award where all top stars who have distinguished themselves as musicians will be honoured. There will be post-humus for those who have died.”

PMAN WAR: MISTA XTO MOVES TO RECONCILE ALL PARTIES

Doyen of the Akwa-Cross entertainment Industry and former AKS PMAN Governor, Mista Xto is painstakingly reconciling all factions that had existed in AKS chapter of the Performing Musicians and employers Association (PMAN).
