In an event hosted at Booble Lounge, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the magazine was unveiled to complement its already existing sister publications (E-101Magazine and E-101Plus). Nigeria’s Youngest Editor and Icekyd pose with their PMAN Awards in new photos

The pictures above and below show my humble self, Ifreke Nseowo, of course Nigeria’s Youngest Editor and music star Icekyd – Otuekong Ikwo 1 posing with our PMAN Award medals. We were given “Ambassador of Music” awards yesterday by PMAN. Etubomg Rex Williams was given a legendary award, while Mista Xto, Sir James and Godfada are some of the other recipients. Lets I forget, my magazine, E-101 was awarded “Best Entertainment Magazine”. The medal was received by our Fashion/Style Editor, Prince ‘Goldenchyld’ Simeon on behalf the Board of Directors of the magazine. More pictures of me and Icekyd after the cut….

MOBO Award nominee, El Mafrex hosted on The Connoisseur Show


El Mafrex, the first black man ever to win the Scottish New Music Award and a nominee for the forthcoming Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Award was on Sunday hosted on The Connoisseur Show. As it is the custom of the program, El Mafrex talked about his sojourn into the entertainment industry, his experience in Scotland, family and other interesting issues. The Connoisseur Show, which is a program off the stables of media conglomerate – Connoisseur Communications Nigeria (CCN) owned by Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ifreke Nseowo airs every Sunday on Uniuyo Fm 100.7Mhz by 6pm. Exclusive: Photos of Orange Carnival 2012


The 3rd edition of the Orange Carnival was staged round the streets of Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Saturday, 22nd September, 2012. The carnival which is powered by Nelson Nseabasi of Still on Street (SOS) who is also the marketing manager of E-101Magazine kicked off at Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Unity Hall, Udo Udoma Avenue, and terminated at popular celebrity hangout – 2nd Baze. 25 bands took part in the carnival and there were notable faces, especially in the entertainers bands were budding singers Feelingz, Indigenous MaliQ, Pop Don X, and AK Smuth were part of while there were special appearances by Icekyd and Pasto Goody Goody. Your favourite blogger and of course Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ever – Ifreke Nseowo was there too…Orange Carnival is done yearly to celebrate the anniversary of Akwa Ibom State. Photos: Apostle of Ibibio rap – Zillions hosted on ‘The Connoisseur Show’


The 3rd edition of The Connoisseur Show played host to the Apostle of Ibibio Rap – Zillions. The show which is hosted by celebrity journalist and Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ever – Ifreke Nseowo was aired on UNIUYO FM 100.7Mhz.
Zillions also nicknamed Dondada, while on the hotseat spoke about himself, sojourn in the entertainment industry, and other sundry issues while his favorites songs were intermittently played in the course of the program.

The Connoisseur Show hosts Mish and Icekyd; Zillionz to be on hotseat this Sunday


The second edition of THE CONNOISSEUR SHOW played host to two of Akwa Ibom’s biggest music acts – Mish and Icekyd. The show, coming off the ‘Connoisseur’ brand of Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ever – Ifreke Nseowo airs on 100.7Mhz every Sunday from 6-7. The two stars took turns to talk about many sundry issues in their careers and personal life as their favourite tracks were intermittently played. Former C-Panel presenter Nelson Nseabasi was the surrogate host of the program while the regular host Nseowo a.k.a Connoisseur was off the mic. Aniekan Ekah of Wetinhappen.com and Asteroid of ‘Musik Alive’ fame were all in the studio. The show returns this Sunday with Nsa Isong crooner - Zillionz on the hotseat. More photos after the cut...

Photos: E-101 Magazine hosts Umana Umana to birthday gig

 The rave-making E-101Magazine on Monday evening hosted the Secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Obong Umana Okon Umana to a birthday bash. It was the 53rd birthday of the man described as a ‘silent achiever’. The Magazine’s board of Directors consisting of Ifreke Nseowo (Nigeria’s Youngest Editor Ever), the versatile Asteroid Bassey, Nelson Nseabasi, Prince Simeon and Aniekan Ekah organized one of the biggest birthday gigs of the year for the SSG at Monty Suites. It was a night full of laughter and enjoyment (as you will see in the pix). The who-is-who in Akwa Ibom politics were they to celebrate with UOU. More pictures below….

Jamzi Kul hosted on debut edition of ‘The Connoisseur Show’



‘Nek Etighi’ crooner, Jamzi Kul on Friday became the first celebrity to be hosted on ‘The Connoisseur Show’. The 45 minutes program which is hosted by Nigeria’s youngest editor ever – Ifreke Nseowo made its debut today on UNIUYO FM 100.7Mhz. Celebrated broadcast virtuoso Mercy David and Rockyfella Eshiet Nsudo (both of AKBC) were in the studio before start the show to set a very fine tone for the kick-off of the show. Nsisong James a.k.a Jamzi Kul was on the hot seat as he intermittently answered posers from the Connoisseur while his favourite 10 songs were intermittently played. The show makes a return next week on 100.7Mhz with another top celebrity in the line to be hosted by Connoisseur. Watch this space for a podcast of the show’s debut edition. I might be proven wrong, but it was undoubtedly the biggest celebrity birthday for the year so far. The Publisher of top online magazine www.wetinhappen.com, Mr. Aniekan Ekah on Wednesday, 08 August, 2012 clocked 30.  The event which was held at popular celebrity hangout 2nd Baze had in attendance Marcel Oformata - MD Amaecom Global Limited, Ndueso Essien – S.A to Commissioner for Information, ace star artiste Mista Xto, Akwa Ibom State PMAN, members of E101 magazine Board of Directors, South Central Records, Double Dee of Justjojo Studio, Eddie Brendan, Di Kans, Zillions Dondada, Brandiny Ini, Godfada.
