tell us how it has been so far.
I was born in 1936. At that time,
the kind of things we are finding now were not there. There was just one tarred
road from Aba to Oron. All these present facilities were not there. Even in my
secondary school days, there were only about two or three secondary schools in
Akwa Ibom State. There were also a few universities then like University of
Ibadan and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Ime Archibong running with Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg |
Working at a huge multinational
company that pays very well is surely the goal for most young Nigerian
graduates. More specifically, working at Facebook is one plum job, many would
go to great lengths to land. According to Forbes, Mark Zuckerberg is worth
$54.4 billion. His company which was established in 2004, employs about 3,000
people. The pay structure at Facebook is
indeed mouth-watering, software engineers are paid about $106,521 – $175,597
yearly, data scientists earn between $84,234 – $188,434, while product
designers with the company earn a little less than that. Not surprisingly,
there are about 11 Nigerians working with Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook, and at
least 7 of them are in the top echelons of the company. Here they are:

NFF have used and dumped me, I’m done with Nigeria - says Saisia
Coach of the National U-23 team, Samson Siasia is certainly
not new to Nigerian football. His latest foray where he led the team to win
Nigeria’s only medal at the just concluded Rio 2016 Olympic Games was not the
first time the former Super Eagles striker will be on the saddle. Before now he
had coached the same team to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games where he won the
silver medal after another silver medal in Under 20 World Cup in Holland. In
this last assignment for the Rio Olympics, the sports minister Solomon Dalung
called him names for taking the team to Atlanta for preparation. Before then
the same minister publicly condemned him for dropping some players who played
in the African Championship in Senegal. The minister wanted all those who
played in Senegal to be in Rio their fitness level or injuries notwithstanding.
The Nigeria Football Federation owed him salaries running up to five months. He
never got the support he needed from the ministry to the federation. In this
interview, Siasia speaks on his future in Nigeria and many more. Read excerpts after the cut...
