Prof. Cyprain Oneyeji, the
Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) was
kidnapped at about 11.30am on Wednesday. It is learnt that 3 policemen on duty
at the university’s gate where the incident took place were wounded in a gun
duel with the 4-man gang. His whereabouts it yet to be known while his
abductors has not made any demands.
