Today, August 2, is the birthday of Namadi Sambo. He is the Vice
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Sambo was born on 2 August 1954 in Zaria,
KadunaState
of Nigeria.
In 1988 he was appointed Commissioner for Works, Transport and Housing, Kaduna. May 2007, saw Sambo
assuming office of the Governor of Kaduna State, Nigeria.
On 19 May 2010, Namadi Sambo was formally sworn in as the Vice President
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
