NIGERIA’S GOT TALENT - After a stiff competition in the zonal stages with over 4,000 contestants and 50 who slugged it out in the semi-finals, Ukeme Boniface, better known as ‘Flexzee’ of Tush Dance Academy has been chosen to compete for the 10million naira as the show comes to an end this Sunday. This was made possible after he was voted into the final amidst stiff competition from 49 others.  Again more votes are being solicited for as the Akwa Ibom born dance wizard battles 9 others to win N10m. Renowned motivational speaker Zig ZIGLAR is dead

World renowned motivational speaker Zig Ziglar, who wrote more than 30 books died Wednesday in Texas. He was 86. Ziglar, who had been suffering from pneumonia, died at a hospital in the Dallas suburb of Plano, said his personal assistant, Jay Hellwig. A memorial service is set for Saturday at Prestonwood Baptist Church. May his soul R.I.P.

Ime who is known with very many names like Okon, Cafenol, Bishop etc rocked the red carpet with his gorgeous fiancée.

As a swag-minded fellow, the Associate Editor of E101Magazine was a shining star at the 3-week orientation camp as he won laurels for best parade and also got elected as interim National President, Akwa Ibom Corpers Forum in Nassarawa State.  After leaving camp on Tuesday, he was spotted shopping at Shoprite at Abuja and has also been redeployed to serve in Akwa Ibom. Snoop Dogg wants to sign David Beckham

Snoop Dogg has indicated interest in buying shares at Celtic FC and also try to sign England football star, David Beckham for the Scottish club. Below is what he said:

I asked my man David about Celtic and he was like, ‘Yeah, teams don’t come much bigger’.

I would try and sign him up for a season but he is pretty happy over here. LA is home for him and his family now – but I would have to at least make that offer to my boy.

UK based 11year old songster, Mya K has been nominated for the 2012 edition of the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) which will hold on December 20, 2012. Mya K who has a British dad and a mom from Akwa Ibom is nominated in the category of ‘Best soft rock/alternative’ courtesy of her song ‘I’ll Survive’. Other stars in her category include BEZ (Stupid Song), Boogieman (Rock Your Party), Ebisan (Jowo), and Lagbaja (Knock Knock).

The much anticipated sequel to 'Okon Lagos' - 'Okon Goes to School' will be showing in cinemas nationwide as from today, Friday 16th of November 2012! Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Eneh is dead

Information at the disposal of CONNOISSEUR has it that veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Eneh is dead. He died today at Park Lane hospital in Enugu. The actor, who lost one of his legs to amputation few days ago, has been battling with his infected leg after being unable to get proper medical attention when he first had pains in the leg. May his soul R.I.P.

Exclusive: 3 corpers caught having sex, expelled from camp

Three members of the Batch C National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) serving in Ondo State have been expelled from the Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko after being caught having sex. CONNOISSEUR learnt authoritatively from a source at the camp that the three corpers (names withheld) were having fun last Saturday night while their colleagues were at the Welcome Party organized to officially welcome them to the camp.

After being sworn-in to office on Monday for a second term, the Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has appointed Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon as his new Chief of Staff. Hmmm…this is another opportunity presented to him to exert his grammatical prowess after failing to return to the National Assembly. It could be recalled that of recent, Patrick has emceed most of the state functions, including the Oshiomhole’s swearing in. I hope Osho will understand his usual parlance. Congrats to him.
