All is now set for the presentation of
the book, "End Of Mission", written by Dr Aniekeme Aniefiok Uwah,
chairman NMA AKS and the South South Zone. The book x-rays the role of the African Union (AU) in the combat of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Liberia.
Dr
Aniekeme Uwah was among the few medical doctors who volunteered to take
the Ebola fight head-on. In the book End Of Mission, he gives an
insider account of the Ebola battle front having spent six months in
Liberia.
The book will be presented on Friday June 23rd, 2017 at Helemah Event Center, Aka Itiam road, Uyo by 10am.
According to the planning committee headed by Dr Ime Udoh, the chairman
of the book presentation is Sir (Dr)Val Attah while Dr Martins Akpan is
the book reviewer. Other dignitaries include His Excellency Mr Moses
Ekpo, Deputy Governor AKS; Mr Ini Utuk, MD Verini Ltd; Rt Hon Onofiok
Luke, Speaker AKHA; Hon(Dr) Henry Archibong , Member House of
Representatives and Dr Dominic I. Ukpong , Commissioner , Ministry Of
Health, AKS but to mention a few.
Dr Aniekeme Uwah
who is also the state epidemiologist invites all stakeholders in the
health sector, friends and associates to the epoch making event.
